This policy covers the Meleon website at meleon.ai and the beta waitlist. “Meleon”, “we” and “us” mean the team behind meleon.ai.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store:

• Your name and email address, typed in or taken from your Google account if you choose Continue with Google.
• Your role (creator, brand or agency) and the AI chats you already use.
• A referral code we generate for you, and the code of whoever referred you, if any.
• Campaign attribution: the UTM parameters on the link you arrived from, the page you landed on and the referring site.
• The time you joined.

To limit abuse, we also keep a short-lived counter of signup attempts keyed to a salted hash of your IP address. We do not store the raw address in the waitlist.

How we use it

We use this information to run the beta waitlist, email you when your access is ready, understand which channels bring people in, and prevent spam. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Google sign-in

If you continue with Google, Google confirms your name and verified email address to us. We request nothing else and never receive your Google password. Google’s own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Services that process your data

• Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the waitlist API and stores the waitlist database.
• Resend delivers the confirmation and notification emails.
• Google provides sign-in and, when enabled, Google Analytics for aggregate traffic and button-click statistics.

Cookies and browser storage

Google Analytics may set cookies to tell visits apart. You can block them in your browser or with an extension and the site keeps working. We also keep UTM parameters in your browser’s session storage for the length of your visit so signups can be attributed. It is cleared when you close the tab.

Uploads

Image previews on this website stay in your browser. The site does not upload them.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist records until you ask us to delete them, or until the beta program ends and we no longer need them.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@meleon.ai from the address you signed up with and we will act on it.

Children

Meleon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for waitlist members, say so by email.
